Ft/lbs torque for RJC Biggie oil filter adapter?

I didn't have a torque wrench when I installed mine but I have one now and just wanted to make sure I torque it down properly when I do my next oil change. I lost the piece of paper that had the info on it. I seem to remember it saying 43 ft/lbs but I may be wrong.
 
I think on something like that you kinda just torquw it to the point where you know its tight enough. Thats the way i did mine 2 yrs ago. And no problems!
 
should be no different than the original adapter nut , 25 lb/ft
 
i hate that they publish metric then US specs

finally decided to lookit up rather than go by memory
and i was incrorrect

spec on that nut is 18 lb/ft or metric 24 NM
 
Sure enough -

Buick manual page 6A5-16, "filter assembly to pump cover" : 18 ft-lbs.

Appears I overtightened mine to 30 !
