Fuel filter direction __Help!!!

Usually ,I pay attention to the small details,,but I was in hurry,,please help.
does it flow to the rear or to the front ??
Arrow facing rear tires....

Or is that the return line to the tank...

Arrow faces direction of fuel flow...from the tank to the engine. The arrow should point toward the front of the car.
