I ordered a spare fuel filter from Kirban Performance (GF481) but got the GF652 ... so I thought they sent me the wrong one but got this reply when I asked about it:

"Our tech informed me that the GF481 part number was superceded by
#GS652. It is the same filter but they combined the various part numbers
they were using to differentiate the cars all into one single part
number."

Anyone know if this is the case, is the GF481 replaced or is it still avalible from GM?

Jan Larsson Anyone know if this is the case said:
Yup, 481 was replaced with 652 (which is the Delco short# BTW). Even if you ordered it by the long # you'd still get the replacement 652. -Al

I still have 4 GF481 filters if someone needs them
Also have 4 PCV valves and 2 coil gaskets and 1 plenum gasket. All AC Delco.

Still have my stock D5 and tranny pan.

Probably still have more stuff but haven't looked.

Make an offer and they are yours :)

I'll take a fuel filter and a pcv valve. Shoot me a price. I can paypal.

Thanks Phil

new # correct

.. also backup & confirm that GF652 is the new # for GF481.

GF652 is the correct replacement I stopped at a few places today (I'm in Boston) and they all confirmed this ... there is no GF481 boxes to be found even if some of them still list them as the old GF481 in their system but when they get it it's the new 652

Just bought one here in the UK (old box), GF481 Delco Rochester Made in the UK  Used on Jaguars and Lotus over here .....
