I've been trying to replace my fuel filter today and can't get the nuts on the fuel lines to budge. I finally sprayed some rust eater lubricant on them to let them soak for a while before I try again. Let me make sure I'm doing this correctly:
Is the the nut size on the fuel lines 16mm ?
I'm trying to turn the rear nut counter-clockwise or toward the driver side, and trying to turn the front nut toward the passenger side. Is that all I have to do (of course making sure I have no fuel pressure in the system) ? Do I then just move the nuts back on the line and pull out the old filter ? I didn't have any trouble with the bracket even though it's a bit rusty. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
