Fuel injector connector 84/85 vs 86/87

I didn't think these two were different but looking at the connector the size of female terminals are larger. Are they interchangeable btw the yrs? The early one looks to be harder to take off vs the newer ones. Thanks

Not interchangeable. Caspers has the harnesses for both Hot Air & Intercooled. Hot Air Fuel Injector Harness

So are you saying that fuel injectors are not interchangeable btw the two bc of the injector harness connectors? Thanks
