I have a set of Green Stripe Injectors... Part # 621031 / D3181AA.
What should I set my Fuel Pressure at and what Chip do I need???
My car is Boggen at low Vac pressure and seems to be running rich.
(Black out the tail Pipe at mid RPM). I have a few ECM's around and think the Chips might have gotten Mixed up...
If someone have the correct chip I would be interested in buying it...

Fuel pressure usually depends on who burns the chip. Most of them like to see 43-45psi with the vacuum line off of the regulator.

As far as who's chips, I have always had success with the Bob Bailey/Full Throttle chips, many others like "turbo tweek".

45 psi is generally preferred. As far as chips: you can't go wrong with turbotweek or full throttle. Used them both and one works as well as the other from what I can tell....
 
OK I will set my fuel Pressure to 43LBS and see what happens...
Again I am not sure on the chip so if anyone has a 009 chip for sale I would like to try it...

OK I changed The O2 Sensor / Regulator and set it to 42LBS (with no Vaccume) The Car is still Boggen out of the hole once boost kicks in the Car Pulls hard... When I shut it down the Fuel Pressure drops to 0.
Could I have a bad Injector? (I have replaced all the Injector Seals and no leaks) Not sure ware to go from here any thoughts?
PS. Scan #'s go from 400-500 at Idle to 850+ on exeleration..

Please Help!!!

What chip do you have in the car now? Are you SURE it's for your injectors/combo?
 
Going to get a chip from Ken Siggy tomorrow, if that fixes the Issue I will buy one from TT next week...
On a side note I have replaced both the Fuel Pump and Regulator (holly adjustable) so don't think it would be eather.. I will try a MAF tonight...

I just noticed that my Fuel Pump is Hot Wired!!!! The guy who had it befor me must have done this. Will this hurt the pump if it is connected to the Alt constantly????
It is making alot of noise and is new.... If i tap the tank it will quiet down for a bit but after a few Min it is loud again...
Any one have a wiring diaghram of how it should be?

Oh I should say the pump has shut off 3 times know and i got it started again by tapping the Tank...
 
Follow the wire from the alt. It should have a fuse under the hood and a relay back by the tank. Something sure sounds wrong though, it shouldn't shut off like that.
 
Those injectors are the old Lucas 009's (5208009) and your listed 621031 is the new Lucas # & D3181AA=old Delphi #.

They're rated at 42.3#/hr @ 43.5 psi (this should be near your line-off pressure setting).

I've had good luck with TurboTweak chip for my 009's & I like the easy adjustability of Eric's newer versions. Good deal to-your-door for under $100.
 
Anyone know th Walbro Fuel pump Part# 255??
I need to get one to make sure is is not the pump...
The pump is wired through a fuse and relay..
It will hold pressure at Idle but am not sure when driving so i might as well change it out, then i will only have Injectors left...
This is kicken my ass!!!

OK Guys.....
I have replaced the Fuel Pump (Walbro 255) FPR (holly adjustable)
New Chip for my Injectors (42.5#) All Injector Seals and still the car is runnen like crap and will not hold Fuel pressure after shut down...
It has to be a bad injector right????? Should I change them out or have them serviced????
This is been such a pain in the rear end...(alburn)

Fuel system check

You should have gone to the site that 231 mentioned it has a trouble shootin list . You were dead stuck on changing FP so now that you know it's not that.. It's either an injector or your fuel pressure regulator when pressure drops to zero like that. Next I would borrow a regulator from a local Turbo Buick friend won't take you 5 minutes to rule that out and if that ain't the problem your not out a C-note or whatever a FPR goes for..., or use your old stocker if you didn't throw it out. So if the reg checks out then it probably is an injector. 009's are alot cheaper these days since most have up graded to Motron60's so you should be able to find some/one reasonably priced. Rancor if you go to the site 231 mentioned there is all kinds of iinformation you can gather that will help you. They have electrical diagrams, articles like how to hotwire your fuel pump. Check it out they have answers for every question you asked, might help to save you some money going there 1st, instead of just changing parts out. If it does turn out to be an injector or injectors you might consider upgrading to 60's if you can afford them at this time. Think Eric/TurboTweak cuts you a deal on his TTchip if you buy the flow matched 60's from him.

Yes i had convinced myself is was the Pump but know now i was way off.
Once the wife gets home I will do the check List and report back.
Shoild i not get a code if a Injector(s) are bad????
I have pulled the plugs and they are fine.

never got a code when i had a stuck injector. but let me tell you it smoked like crazy. the fuel in the air was nuts.
 
OK I did the fuel test last night and do get Pressure drop when both the in/out are Clamped..
I will have the Injectors checked today...\
 
OK I got the Injectors back today and the car still sputters????
I am at a loss on what i should do next....
Any Thoughts????
I have checked my vaccume lines and they all look good..
I am LOST..
