I'm converting an 81 El Camino. Factory conventional fuel delivery for NA carbed V6 (no fuel return return). I'm reusing that supply line as the new return line, but now I need to add a new fuel line. Braided satinless and A/N fittings look cool and all, but isn't there a better way? The original hanger I salvaged just had 2 hose clamps on it into a rubber hose. Safe or not?

I would just use steel break line. Thats what I used on mine 3/8 all the way back. Just use hp injector hose between the pump and line etc. They also have coated ones too. I used the raw ones and started to rust a little so if you go that way I would paint it after the install. Hope that helps:)
