hi
today i disconected the vacuum line to my fuel pressure regulater it seems to run a lot better.i pluged up the vacuumline so it wont leak.
will it hurt runing like that.

Yes, it will hurt the engine! You need that line so the when the car makes boost the fuel pressure increases. If you leave it off your car will run rich idling and go lean when boost goes up.

No Problem Harold,

Running rich isn't going to hurt the engine (Plugs maybe), but going lean at boost is the killer. That line goes to your intake and has vacuum that lowers the fuel pressure when at idle or no boost. As pressure increases (Boost) that line raises the fuel pressure in the regulator so the injectors get the fuel they need. Without that rise in fuel pressure you'll starve the engine and that can lead to knock/detonation that can hurt the engine in various ways.
