You have COM ports on your computer. Not can a or can b or rs232
Your serial adapter has a USB connector
You need to identify what COM port the USB is plugged into
That's a laptop issue not FAST issue
open communication, then setup, then com port, then select com port 6
When i open communications i have these to chose: Retrive calibration, Send calibration, Firmwire upgrade now, device communication. I have no setup icon :S. I tride to insert a picture in this message but it doesent work either....
You you have the XFI on your screen.
Top there is File, View, Communications, Logging, Window, Help
Click on Communications .. then you'll have Connect, below that Ping ECU, below that Start Server, below that Setup.
Click setup. Then youll see General, Com Port, Network.
Click Com Port and select Com Port 6
I cant baby step you further.
Maybe you need to download new software from FAST?? Dunno.
