I've been running E-85 in the White car for over 3 years. No corrosion, I've had all kinds of stuff apart trying to find corrosion.
Some people just don't get it and still are confused when it comes to E-85 verses Methanol. You can lead a horse to water but........
I guess a lot of people still believe that E-85 will rot stuff off of your car. I'm glad this is the case, it leaves more E-85 for those of us who get it and can think outside of the box.
i've been running various mixtures of E85 in my T Type since about a month after ia started driving it in '04 and have seen absolutely no evidence of any kind of corrosion at all.
the only people that don't like it are the people that haven't tried it.
Yes....all i can say is wow!!! that turbo spools fast. And yes I'm going to have to get the standard Actuator the HD one is way to much boost for my stock application. It goes past 30 PSI way to fast and the car was all over the road. I had to pull over and check to see if i soiled myself after i got on it a bit to hard after coming out of a driveway...weeeee I never seen any knock, but i was never able to get full throttle bacause the boost was going to high. Plus the roads were starting to get a tad wet due to the crappy weather. It feels strong..possibly a soild low 11 or even a real high 10 second combo with the right tuning. I'm just going to take small steps. Are you going to the GB nationals in May? I am.
Yeah this turbo moves a ton of air, should be a blast around the street. No can't go in May need a new trans and in July going on my yearly fishing trip so I can't make the GB. Too much going on .
