I have had trouble with my fuelpump. current problem is the fuel pressure drops to 0 when the motor is shut off. this is the third time this has happened. can't believe i have gotten 3 bad pumps.
What are the most common causes of failure? there must be something i am missing.
Thanks in advance for your responses
Bob

check for leaks at fuel filer,FPR,and fuel hoses/lines there is a leak somewhere if your losing fuel pressure that soon when you turn off the car. the gauge would gradually go to zero the longer the vehicle sits. But should not go imminently to zero when the car is shut off. Hard to keep the car running? Aftermarket FPR?
