fuel pump help ?

ok just the other day my car started up fine well i turn the key on and it turns like 3 times then fires up i dont know y it wont just fire up wit just me turnin the key but my problem came today is just goes and goes but wont start up could it be my fuel pump not pumpin gas through? any tips will really help me out and if it is the fuel pump where is it located in the tank?

you could use a fuel pressure gauge and check that while cranking the car over....if it does not have pressure you could use a voltmeter and test to see if it is even getting power....or you could just drop the tank and replace the pump w/ a hi-flo one, this would be your best bet....once you drop your tank it will be right there, just need to un twist a few piece and pull her out and replace it.....RACETRONIX has the walbro340/hotwire kit for like 1$75 shipped i think I paid....excellent quality and fast shipping.....good luck with it....if your gonna drop the tank make sure you load the bolts up w/ some kind of spray lube/penetrator and let it sit for a while, it will make your job much easier....g'luk

oh i 4got the most easiset way....just turn the ignition on and if you hear the pump making a noise its obviosuly running...this test is not always 100% but the stock pumps are very loud and should be pretty obvious....

Check your relay also. One up front right side fender (by radio antenna) and the connection at the rear going to the tank.
