i was having problems with fuel pressure so i removed the fuel pump from my car. i feel pretty dumb because the tank was practically empty, problem solved. it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because i noticed the hose attaching the actual pump to the fuel line (inside the tank) was very scammer and it fell apart easily when i took it off. is there a certain kind of rubber hose i should be using?

Yes, a fuel resistant hose on both the interior & exterior. Unfortunately I can no longer recall what its called.
Hopefully someone ekse will chime in.

Napa pn #H213. 3/8 x 12 inches submersible fuel line hose, about $40 if I recall. As stated above, it has to be rated for immersion. Regular EFI line (or any other) will degrade the longer it's in the tank.

thanks, i just came back from the store and put everything back together, fuel pressure good again. still runs like crap though. just a little frustrated!
