Hey hows it going.. Ok. So i have a question/problem. I have a 86 t type, 4.1L
I bought a racetronix 340m purple fuel pump a while ago. I hooked up the fuel pump like it normally would be installed. Tested it, by turning the power to acc, (without starting the car), and nothing. So what i did was i switched the 2 wires that go to the fuel pump, and it started working.I also had to switch a wire on my hotwire kit... and have been driving like this.. Shortly after, i noticed my headlights are having problems, the fuel sending gauge no longer works. Im alsohaving problems under WOT, sometimes the car is popping under WOT..... is this because of the fuel pump, backwards wires, or FP polarity?
