Fuel pump ???'s PICTS NOW! still have ?'s

I just got a fuel tank for a GN for my swap into the Cutlass and have a few questions.
When I got the tank there was something loose inside which turned out to be the pump and components (insulator etc.). Being this was all loose when I took it apart I don't know how it is supposed to go back together or if anything else is missing. I would think that something goes on the bottom of the pump as I have done other f.i. tanks before and they had a sock/filter thing. Does anyone have a pict or ling. Yes I did a search already and checked gnttype. Any help is greatly appreciated.

-------edit-------------picts. below---------

Okay I took a few picts that should make it easier as I doubt anyone ever takes a pict of their pump, etc when they have the tank down. So what am I missing, if anything, and do I have it hooked up properly?

It is supposed to have a sock on it and disguard the pulsator and replace with a hose if it still has one.

Ok if the pulsator is what is supposed to be there fine 'cause there is nothing just the bottom of the pump and the hanger. Where can I get a sock?

Take the fuel pump to an auto parts store, and tell them you need a fuel sock/strainer for it. You can't just go in and ask for one, because the pump may have been upgraded. Also get some fuel line(high pressure) and hose clamps, along with some Ty-wraps. Put the pump in the hanger, cut the hose to the right size, and attach it so that it holds the pump to the bottom of the hanger. Double clamp both ends if you can. You may not have enough on the pump to attach two clamps. Then Ty-wrap the pump to the return line so that it doesnt move around. Attach the fuel sock, and drop it in the tank.
If the pipe on your hanger that the fuel pump attaches to is a smaller diameter where it attaches to the hose coming off of the pump, then cut this restriction off.

P.S. Your pics don't work.

By the looks of that pump in the picture I would not trust it. Just get a new pump for $80 or so. Then you wont have to worry about getting a new sock for it. If its for stock cutlass just get a 307 pump:)

It appears to be a stock pump (AC stamped on bottom) and I won't be using it anyways. I will upgrade before I install everything. I just wanted to be sure I am not missing anything important.
Thanks
