Fuel pump?

Is there anyway to tell what fuel pump is in your tank without dropping the tank itself. have an aftermarket fuel pressure reg so i think they may have upgraded the pump. Dont want to put out the money if I dont have to

As cheap as they are I would replace it regaurdless. I change mine every year. No fuel=BOOM!!
