Thats right, another fuel system problem. The other day i was cruising and my car just puttered and died. I had a pretty good hunch it was fuel. Checked the guage under the hood and sure enough there was no fuel pressure. The fuel pump is two weeks old and haven't had a single problem with the Walbro 307. So, i checked the hotwire fuse--good, and the connections on the alternator--seemed ok, reset the ecm, checked the pressure--none. I was in a hurry so called a tow truck to take her home. Got in the car and fuel pressure was there. Turned around and headed home. It died 2 miles later. Did the same routine with no luck. Towed her home. I went to my prior engagement. Got home and I went to work, but the car fired right up. Loose wire right? Checked all connections couldn't find a short or a loose wire. Checked relays--ok. now im scared to take it far from the house because i dont want to have to call another tow truck. It hasn't given me any other problem though--what could it be that I haven't checked. Please don't say fuel pump--that is the last step.
