I am no longer running the canister and am looking for ideas on what to do with the vent for the fuel tank. Right now I just have a hose coming off the sending unit.

Thanks Brandon.

I seen some small filters that has I think a 3/8 hose attatched to it. You can just clamp on the filter to the line, that should keep junk out and let it vent. I seen these at Advance Auto.
Part # 153013 They have different types also just look for the Spectre brand filters.

I use a small air filter on the end of that hose & have no gas odor.

Why not vent at the area near the fuel fill cap as the early (before "emissions") cars were done?

where do the lines route for the early cars to the plate? I also like the little filter idea. Going to finish up the fuel lines today since all my fittings came in. See if I can find a nice spot to mount a little filter.
