It leaves a small orange/brown residue they say is the burning of one of their main anti-knocking agents.

I pulled a plug. They are Autolite 103. Definite orange/brown coating for sure. While at the track, I experimented with more timing in 1st/2nd gears, up to 24 degrees and still no knock with 23psi.

Yep mine look like that too wow 24 degrees geez that's amazing . I'm def getting a case from Hartline down the road .

My buddy's stage 2 car with a 70 Gtq n gn1 aluminum heads is running 26 lbs with torco n 18* timing at 10.8 afr .
