I'm pretty sure I'm currently running a 180* thermostat, since my car runs pretty much 185* all the time. Just wondering what kind of gains can I see by switching to a 160*?

None if you radiator sucks. If your cooling system is up to the task running cooler will let you run a little more timing without detonation, or give you a little more protection on the timing you have now

i put in a 160 t-stat and noticed NO difference UNTIL i got a chip which turns the fans on sooner. runs under 180 in middle of 100* florida summertime unless it sits for 10 mins then it rises to 195-200 but very slowly. im still running a crappy looking stock radiator.

Radiators

Speaking of radiators. What is a good replacement???I had stock one rebuilt.

I love my Be Cool. A lot of money, but worth ever penny!!! The thing is thick. It is cool here in MD now. So don't know what it will be in the summer. But I can tell you this, at the track, doing some runs in a row, with a front mount IC, the car never went about 168 on a 47/48 deg day.
