i notice alot of people have 11 and 12 second cars that are daily driven or driven ofter...
what type of gas milage do you guys see?
is it around 20 or really bad?

I did a bunch of back road driving the last couple years but most of it 45 mph and not much traffic as it was off peak hours but still a lot of turns and stopp signs, about 250 miles a week and I was averaging about 17 which included at least a couple short 3/4 throttle blasts a day.

It seems like after a good 0 to 80-90 mph blast that the gas gauge has moved about 1/8 tank. Otherwise ~20 mpg.

I got 28 MPG drafting an enclosed trailer on the way to Bristol in 2001.

Usually I get low 20's on the highway.

Depends on how I'm drivin and what chip I have in it, but it's usually low to mid 20s... err... when it's running anyway

Your gas mileage at highway cruise should remain about the same no matter what mods you've done to a mild car, with stock heads and bottom end. If you have 50# injectors and big turbo, the fuel to air ration should stay about the same at highway cruise as it did stock, otherwise you'd be driving around rich all the time and out of tune.
When you floor the pedal, the computer is using a completely different part of the fuel and spark table than at highway cruise.
With bigger injectors, the pulsewidths at cruise will just be smaller, allowing the same amount of fuel in as the stock injectors did.....so with that said, be sure you do the computer chip mods with all your other mods to adjust for better breathing, better exhaust flow, more air, more fuel, etc..
