gasket/porting intake

I've got a guy that is working my heads. Angle grinding, porting, flow bench. He wanted me to get an intake gasket so he could port the intake. I got him a felpro 1200, it did say stage 1 on it. He said that gasket would not work so he used a different mr. gasket one. He won't be available until next week to see what he means. Does anyone know what he might mean and is that the right gasket?

Yes you can use the 1200,this gasket does not have the valley pan gasket on it.There is another felpro larger then stock with the valley pan on there dont know the #,but i would use it.

Someone on here will put in the right #.

I would use the fel-pro ms96033. That's all you would need.

1200 are used with the champion gn-1 aluminum usually.

Thanks for the responses. It looks like this last gasket number is the one I'm looking for. I'll find out monday what my machine guys says.
