Gateway (St. Louis) Buick Performance Enthusiasts - January Meeting

December's meeting was very well attended! We voted the new board in, and things are off to a roll. We show 24 paid members out of the 61 people currently on the mailing list. And I'm sure several more just haven't got around to it yet.

January is here, and its time to keep the momentum up. We need to start planning for our spring events. Car shows, dyno sessions, test n' tunes, national events, and more. Not to mention the first club shirts in well over a decade!

Our Social VP has been eagerly trying to get ahold of someone from Gateway Raceway to speak at this month's event about the upcoming race season. Even possibly having Bret Kepner attend. None of this is confirmed, but we are eagerly pursing it until the meeting time.

Anyway, we have a speaker from Gateway confirmed. Hope everyone (else) can make it!

25 people or so showed up. A GS, two GNs, and a limited. Thanks to mike from Gateway for showing up and talking with us. I had a good time talking with friends ad did not even wreck my car on the way home. So I would say it was an A OK time.

Aaron won the 50/50...again. So he basically gets paid to attend. Did you notice his attempt to tip the waitress a little extra for her draw? He's bleeding all of us dry.

Something is going on with this 50/50... Aaron's just been lucky! He needs to take his car to the track. I'm sure he would run 8 something.

Yeah maybe i should play the lotto. Well anyway it's good to see the club finally doin something. I cant wait til March
