Thats why i said we would have good track grude racing, i just need to get the short to a 1.9, like i had on my last pass. That would have been my 11 sec pass, she was runing 95 MPH in the 1/8 and i missed a gear. Next time out she should go 12.0-11.90's@119. That my prediction, saw some things on the dyno i could change. Yea, i drive around on 315 nittos.

315 nitto's?? Jezz man those must cost a pretty penny:confused: Your car has the mph to do it(11.9). Guess u have to figure out how to hook it. Im in the same boat.

Alex

119 mph! Thats sweet. Alex, if we were running that mph we would be knockin' on the door of a 10 second pass. Of course were not pulling 1.6 short times like most guys. :(

Ya, my car as it sits will go 115 plus. I think my set up has to small a turbo and my converter is a 12 inch so 119 would be a stretch. But i can make up a lot of time on the bottom end, my traction problems will soon be gone, when my bilsteen shocks disappear. Then again, if i want to be a ****, i can bolt on my own 100 shot and say goodbye to all them, but i think ill have more fun doing it with the set-up i have now with just a FEW TWEAKS!:D

Scary part is that my car is sort of slow, the damn 2001-2002 cars are really running. For some reason i made tons of torque, but the 2001+ cars are easlily making 430-480 on spray. With traps of 120-125,and 112-115 on motor. oh well there is always someone faster.

Alex

From what u were telling me that guy Freddy jumps at the chance to put spray on a GN, but I agree it is a lot better to do it without spray even though they can't;) Either way though those #s are pretty damn impressive LS1 T/A and honestly how much do those 315 Nittos cost???

The questions is how much spray, from what i have heard the bar has been moved up from the conventional 125-150 shot to 200 shot! Which we can argue all day about realiabilty, but under the test of time, i would think if u do that enough ull be picking up pieces of the ls1 rear end or push rods all over the road. Also there is no more free ride from chevy, because chevy now has there mechanics prepared to sniff out spray;) So, im sure the numbers are great, but how long will they last. NOT LONG.

Of course some guys dare to wack 200 shot, but most are from 100-150 and do so for quite a few years. Just like some people run 30lbs of boost. Same sh&t different car, you know? You'll be surprised at the nittos, when you know people at goodroads i pay wholesale, lets just say i get then under 170 bucks a tire :)

That is a pretty good price for those monster DRs... Guess u need them for those 60ft times;)

All i bought them was for looks, a nice beefy tire out back and plus it was the cheapest 315 in the market. DR or street tire, my 60's are still the same, i guees lowering the car doesnt help short times :)

Hey LS1, hook a brother up! Its embarressing as hell to smoke out when you're trying to race, ain't it?:D I need rubber, BAD. I need MONEY bad too.....
