Gen 7 question

Does the vac sol. function with a jumper and Gen 7 ? If not is there a way to make it function properly. I jumped mine to ground and the car stopped smelling like gas after returning to the garage. I just dont feel comfortable with it running vac all the time. I also thought of wiring a pull to ground solenoid off of something such as the brake lights.... Any input is appreciated.

Well there is no output for it really, but if you don't use the lockup converter function for your tranny you could hook it up there, as long as the solenoid draws less than 500 ma.

Actually, the drivers for TCC, nitrous, A/C, shift light, etc. in a Gen 7 with version 5.0 or newer firmware can handle 1 amp.
