Getting an appraisal for my Regal

How much can I expect to spend on a quality auto appraisal?

It is for in case if the car ever becomes stolen/totaled, the insurance co. doesn't try and jip me on giving me the book value, as it is a 21 year old collector vehicle.

Also when the appraisal is done, do I get any sort of paperwork to go with it? What should I look for?

Up here the going rate is 180-200. With the appraisals I've had done in the past I got a binder with all the info and pictures.

I had mine appraised at my house which cost me $250 in the dead of winter,
my appraiser gave me a 30 page binder of information on my gn and a list of
other gn with the same miles and options that mine has, also a list of a couple
different auction dealers that had sold gn's.to give a fair value on my gn. Best thing you can due if you have a mint to excellent condition gn.One other thing my appraiser also gave a history of his qualifications.My gn was
valued at $27000.00 and a vehicle condition rating 2 which is a good grade.
when i purchase my gn 5 years ago i payed $18500.00 with 29000.00 miles on it, today i have 34 thousands mile on the clock:biggrin:
