It did seem a little pricey. Read another article mentioning that the electric Nissan Leaf will be priced around $32k to start then you can subtract the $7500 incentive...

Of course there's not mention of the fact that you know the stealerships are going to add a premium markup to them like they did on the new Camaro...
 
lets hope this car doesnt turn into the EV-1 senario again:eek::rolleyes: or was it the ev-2?
 
The EV1 was a test to see if the concept would fly...years later, the Volt is born. It seems like a very fair price for that kind of technology. Just wait until gas prices go up again. The question I have is how do you pay road tax that is normally built into the price of gas?

This is a very good point. You should go ask that question in the political forum. Im sure the lefty douches have some sort of reasoning as to why they should not have to pay that tax.
