GM shifter cable

Is the original GM shifter cable still available for our cars or at least a reliable aftermarket replacement? I've gone through 2 cheap Advance auto cables. They don't seem to be long enough. Any decent options out there?

I also went through 3 of the Advance Auto el cheapo cables. After the 3rd time they just refunded my money. I bought a cable from Kirban's and haven't had a problem since.
