gn cop car clone

should i convert my gn to a cop car clone? i found a ex cop car in a junk yard with some steel wheels, shot gun rack, police interceptor badge and all the lights. ive got my old cb setup from the 442 i can use on it. i plan on beefing it up with some heavy duty suspension parts and all the braces i can find so its going to physically set like a cop car.

does any one know if i can use the steel wheels from a caprice on a gn? or am i going to have to use corvette ralleys?

Caprice wheels are a 5 on 5" pattern so nope it wont work.

You can't do that legally. You can put basic steel wheels with piepan hubcaps on it and white strobes "hidden, but not really" to kinda get the effect, but it's lost on the GN. Already looks pretty mean.

Save your casheses and keep the police off your back.

First off, I would have to agree that having a police GN would bring nothing but harassment from the police. But then again, I've seen police cars and such at car shows, are these only owned by police or do they have to have a special permission to register these cars??

Are you talking about a GN with a light-bar up top and everything?? Would you paint it white and black?? It's your car.. do what you want.

In southern CA, Billy Chappen (sp) use to & may still run his LAPD Buick. It is/was a stage 2 NA car with full lights and marking. Best of memory, it was running mid to low 10s.

the only GN cop car I ever saw was a state police car, (pulled me over) stock looking, with the darkest tint Ive ever seen. new better than to try and out run him

im thinken about the hidden strobes but with white lenses,ill only use the colored ones for shows. cb antennas, custom grand national police interceptor badge (where it ses intercooled it will say police interceptor)

it will look something like this but lowered with a meaner stance and tinted windows
