Did anyone see the episode? i missed the first 15 min, but they were redoing tranny stuff, and i couldnt tell at first if it was a buick or not but they finally showed the car and sure enough, it was a GN with crager rims on it....

they didnt really talk about the car at all...

I saw an episode a while ago with a GN, I forgot what they were accutally doing to it,but If I remember correctly it had t-tops. Im just glad they didnt put a trailer hitch, running boards and bug deflectors on it

the conv. was a black tci and it the trans was some sort of remian ( black case)

i was wondering if it was 1 of bruce's or eric s. trans but i wasent sure

They used our converter part number 243015, same one I use. It's actually a 3000 rpm converter in a TR. The 1500 rpm stall increase stated there is a generic rating or rule-of-thumb, for the Streetfigher converter series, encompassing all makes and models. ie.:

Saturday Night Special (12" dia.) - 500 rpm over stock
Breakaway (11" dia.) - 1000 rpm over stock
Streetfigher (10" dia.) - 1500 rpm over stock
Super Streetfighter (10" dia.) - 2000 rpm over stock

If I recall correctly, they also ordered a hardened stator support and Pro Super overhaul kit from us as well to take care of the transmission. I don't know who built it however and I didn't see the show because our local cable doesn't carry the Speed Channel. That is unless you spend a mint for the digital cable package.
