Watching Muscle Car on Spike and they covered the Nationals and GNX 031 on their flash back segment  Now if we can only get one of those shows to do a nice GN build up...

I just happen to walk in on the trailer for it for the "coming up Next"... They actually did a pretty good quick coverage of this years GS Nats, the entire segment was shot at Bowling Green during the Nats and showed quite a few GN's blasting down the track!

I thought it was great! If you missed it, I think they generally show a repeat on Sunday mornings. It's listed at 11:30 on Spike tv EST. Nice to see coverage!

ponykillr, that was on 'Dream Car Garage' (Speed Channel). Never did get to see how the rust protection worked after a winter test........

I didnt see it but it sounds like it was a good spot.

Hopefully if another show does something with our cars they at least choose the fuel pump as one thing to change.

Whatever show that was with the twins that competed and they had contestants that helped and who ever had the faster car kept both. They had those 85's on there and did some mods but left the stock fuel pumps. Wouldnt you know, they failed and the cars ran slow and one didnt even make it down the track. That was not a good display of the potential these cars have.

Saw it too. Glad to hear they didn't say something about it having a twin turbo V8.

i was able to watch the episode today, it was nice to see:biggrin: them talking about the gn and how it was faster than the vette in 1987.I hope
in the futher they will have more episode on how and wye the buick gn are still out running todays sports/muscle cars.

My car on Muscle Car

I just watched this epsiode of Muscle Car because I DVR it. I am watching it and BAM I see my car going down the track at BG. It was the 4th car in the segment making a run down the quarter mile. I could see plain as day my Ohio license plate "1 QUIK 6". Wonder if I can get royalties:biggrin: I know the segment was mostly about GNX#031, but I was happy to see my car on national TV. I think they did a pretty good job on the coverage and gave us props for what our little V6's can do.

The show is not available yet on powerblocktv.com, they seem to be a week behind on the web site. Wonder if I can transfer from my DVR to a CD or VHS.

I just watched it on VHS, decent segment. I like that GNX owner, saying he enjoys driving his car, if he's not going to drive it he might as well just hang a picture on the wall.
