GN Wolf Pack

The following is not a specific kill story but some pics of this weekend's second annual Turbo Buick GN Wolf Pack meet in Sylvan Lake in Central Alberta Canada. I'm sure the boys had a little fun once the sun went down but the day itself saw perfect weather and a great turnout of cars, some coming from further than 100 miles away. I only had time to drop in and snap a few pics before having to be elsewhere but by 1:00 p.m there were already 13 turbo cars in attendance with GNX #200, an 89 TTA with 927 miles, a black and grey 87 Turbo-T and 12 GN's of various years with most being 86's and 87's, plus a black LaSabre. The meet certainly attracted a lot of attention in this busy summer-resort village with lots of other performance cars suddenly stopping on the main street to see just what all these black cars were up to.

Of particular interest was the Turbo-T that had a full guage pack installed, in metric, and with turbo emblems on the face plate. Does anyone know anything about this gauge pack? (See link below.)

Guage Pack / Turbo T

Although I wasn't able to attend this event, I believe this TR belongs to Russ Blazeiko. The guage pack is one he installed from another GM car. I'm can't recall the model.

I will send him an email. I did notice on the guage pack that there were turbo logos in the face plate below the dials. Perhaps these were engraved in after the fact but they sure looked original. Odd that no one else on the list has seen these guages a they are a perfect fit.

Rally guage pack

There are a few cars running around with this dash in them.
Russ has spent alot of his time setting this dash up & it shows in the end product.
I have always wanted full instruments in my T but still have not found a sanitary spot to
put them. No 6" tachs on the dash for me.
One of these full guage packages is waiting for me, as soon as I can get my car to
Calgary for the install.
