Anyone have the GN1 dual 3" exhaust and took somegood pics of it on the it around the rear end and where it exits i need to make sure i dont have any problems where i put things with this system?

I have pics. Of it but mine stop at the mufflers. No tailpipes Sorry. I was trying to put them on and it fit good.. actually go to buickgn.com he has pics of it and his car is dropped

I seen their pics in my search just not quite what i need they are very focused in each area i need more of the big picture.

Thats close to what i need but i really need to see the gap between the pipes and gas tank and where they exit under the frame a side view would work but i know i'm asking allot!

go to the gn1 website. click on the exhaust. there are pics of it installed that probably are exactly what your looking for.

The pipes are not near the gas tank. I have the system on my car right now and I have my tank dropped so I could remove my fuel pump. It's not even close. I'll try to snap a pic or two tonight.

I intent to put a cross brace in between the tank and exhaust so i eed to see where to place it so it dont hit the tank or exhaust its just hard to measure with the body off. If you can get some pics from side to side that would be very helpful Like drivers side looking at pass side spare tub/frame.

I can say that as long as its higher and slightly behind the stock exhaust hangers...it should clear just fine.
Or you can put it up closer to the shock mounts.

I plan to put one across the shock tower also and triangle some braces between them.

If you didn't buy it yet the new gn1 system doesn't use the stock hangers anymore, atleast the system I got. They get mounted to the frame now.. I have pic of new hangers.

Yea I read that on the site but didn't know exactly what they meant thanks for the pic! That will be helpful because the stock hangers were in the way of my plans!

I wonder why they changed from the stock mounting location. I can see maybe to keep the tips in place and keep them from moving around, but from a weight stand point it doesn't look as strong. I would rather use the stock location for a nice clean look from behind. I can see using both locations tho, that is unless a custom shock tower brace will not allow

Turbojoe, I'm with ya man. Def makes tips sturdy but makes rest of exh feel shakey. Had them on once didn't like it and off they came..:D

Yea ya see, those hangers in the pick you posted also look a little chinsey.
I would very much rather utilized the stock hanger location. Im not sure that new style will hang on for ever. But i like the idea of keeping the pipes from flapping around, but getting rid of the stock style was a bad move in my eyes.

It was. I plan on taking it to my exhaust guy to put some tabs on to use stock hangers. For now I'll just enjoy the bad ass sound and the bad ass drone: P lol

I've had my GN1 system since 2007. I have the bad ass sound, but not the bad ass drone. It drives really nice. It's a dual 3 inch system...it's gonna have a little noise, but it's not a drone as I've heard in other cars. I'm getting ready to go 4 inch single to see which I like better.

Coach you're exhaust is full? My drone is only bc it dumps out right b4 the rear. And you only hear the drone w windows closed. I love it but it's the gf that doesn't. Lol

Yep...whole system. I didn't know you didn't use the tailpipes.
