Kudos to Rich Inacker for hammering out the registry/scripting stuff last night!
The site is now back up with NO DATA LOSS!
This was just one of those things ... the box worked flawlessly for a year and then one day I came into the server room to see the "Blue Screen Of Death" (about an hour before I had to leave for the airport!)
It's been a cascading series of "fix that, now that's broke, outta time" comedies since then. Now we should have a much nicer box (another freebee from me) and a RAID card on the way to make the recovery process easier if this kind of thing ever happens again.
