Just curious if anyone has done this. I will be going fiberglass, so I would assume it would be an easier installation than a stock hood, but just curious if anyone has tried this to reduce underhood temps.

Conley's "Tweaked" had GNX louvers on the hood. Didn't look all that bad to me, I thought it was a good look. However, I don't know anybody personally that did this to their TR.

ive seen them before one someone's car before, cant remember who's but it looks pretty good. it was on a fiberglass hood too btw.

Back when Dennis Kirban first started selling the glass hoods, he suggested putting TA vents on the hood. That looked pretty good, too.

Well that did it. IF Tweaked had em, then I have to also! Thanks for helpin me decide. ANyone know where I can find a template so they go exactly like where Tweaked had em?

I did it on a car I used to have. I had a carbon fiber hood. They were just about over the headers, you could feel heat coming out of them.

I think I swapped sides.....I put the left fender vent on th eright side of the hood and the right one on the left side of the hood. That way the point of the vent was closer to the center line of the hood.....just lay em up there....and you ll see what I m talking about, it just looked better.

I held them in with E6000 , I wouldn t use or trust the two sided tape for to long.

Just wanted to add that he also had these on his( I think ) car in the video he made back in the late 80's. I believe it was called "Grand News".
