GNX Gauges

Ok, I've had this gn now for about 4 years, and have never gotten the oil and temp gauge working. When I bought the GN it had a true gnx dash installed into it, but the oil and temp gauge was never hooked up. I'm not sure if I just need to change out the sending unit, or if there is some other wiring that would need to be changed. Can someone tell me what I need to get those working?

ground the wire that goes to the oil sender ,
key on , if gauge reads full scale the sender is bad if it doesnt the gauge or the wiring is bad and youll need to pull the dash

The guy I bought it from said when he had the cluster put in he never had the temp or oil hooked up. So I'm just trying to figure out what I needed to buy and add. My guess is he never ran any wiring for those two gauges.
