I was blown away to see a GNX on the stage. I know nothing about Kendrick Lamar. Not much of a fan of rap but to see a GNX on the world stage was great. Not so great is the story behind the GNX.

Donor car to use as a set piece. Very cool to see it, I got a bunch of messages during the show from family & friends. "How come you don't let more people ride in yours?"

I once said any publicity for our cars is good publicity when they used one in Fast and Furious. This almost makes me want to change my mind on that statement. GNX or just a T, I hate they turned a real turbo Buick into a clown car.

Wasn’t a GNX if you look close it had a sunroof and Grand National badging on the fender

It looks like this is the car they bought. Close enough for most people, not for some.
I figured they started with a shell. Maybe there wasn’t enough time?

There was a guy on here from Western Michigan retired pilot I think, had a dark blue T havnt seen him in a long time poor guy had cancer from what I remember can't remember his name but his sig said " Enjoying good music is like eating candy first thing you do is throw out the wrapper" .. I think of it every time I hear it. Rap "music" absolutely blows.. can't believe NFL won't allow metallica to play but this cop out crap is ok. It's crazy how it has infiltrated society, construction sites are full of 20 somethings talking like they're from da hood I want to clothesline them.

I know. It's sad but that's how the masses see it, if it doesn't start with a "G" then it's just a "T". Everybody knows GNX and if you have an X, it's ooh's and ah's but if you have a GN then it's too bad it's not a GNX. If you've got a T, then it's too bad it's not a GN. Of course, if you've had one long enough, you remember when they first came out and it was too bad, you should put a v-8 in it only to find out before long that they were looking at the tail lights of a, "What the heck is a T?" I've gotten lengths and the leave before because "It's not a GN, I just painted the bumpers black, it's only a T."

I am waiting for this big boost in value from some rapper writing a song about and then using an "X" in an arguably lame half time show of a totally forgettable Superbowl. If that happens, I'll be back to any publicity is good publicity, lol.
:ROFLMAO:

If he can appreciate the Turbo Buick, he's ok in my book. Not into his music but I know my Dad didn't like my music either. To each their own.

I like his song, Not Like Us. But that's the only one. The car was the only good thing about the halftime show. overall I rate it as the worst halftime show in history.
