We may have a problem with this one. According to the VIN listed, NO GNX cooresponding # in the database unless the VIN is incorrect in his ad. Here is a list of VINs in that range.

I Carfaxed the VIN, it came back to an 86 Monte Carlo...ok, just kidding. The only information on it was a title date of 09/29/1987 from Tennessee...no mileage. I emailed the dude for more pictures and the GNX number...we'll see what he says.

ask him for a picture of the emissions controll sticker on the heater box, it i'll say asc inc. instead of gm if its a real gnx.

Would not prove its real, as I have sold several of those emissions sticker and they can still be found once in a while.

This also would NOT prove authenticity as I have several of those labels too.

The trunk label must have the T2L option code, VIN must match GNX Number and the letters "GNX" will be reveresed emmbosed on the Paint code tag on the cowl.

Appears to have the wrong VIN number on the ebay ad. Appears that the 05 in his ad should read 85. Still needs to have the T2L option code to satisfiy me.

I think it's legit. The Carfax reported an initial titling of 9/29/87 in Tennessee.
