GNX Type wheel question

I am considering buying some 16" rims that are all of 8" wide and have a 4" backspace. I was going to put these on a stock '86 GN. Will these fit on the front and what is the correct tire size to use without rubbing. Or should I just pass on these rims.

That is the same backspacing as the Kirban Repro. GNX rims. Should not have any trouble with a stock height car. Some may rub slightly on the inner fender at Full Lock, but most have no problems. 245/50R16 all around, or 255/50R16 on the back are most common sizes. :biggrin:
