This evening I decided after buying a new TCC, Filter, O-ring, and gasket to re-install the lock up function in a 200-4R I purchased.

You see, I knew that it had been converted to non-lock-up before I bought it... well little did I know that the "shop" that did the work elected to remove ALL of the wiring inside the case. As well as the sensors and switches.

So my question is: Can I simply stick the TCC sillynerd back in place and hard wire it in on a switch via ALDL & the weather-pak connector in the side of the case? Effectively taking the 4th gear pressure switch outta the picture (currently it is a socket head cap screw  ) and leaving lock-up a full manual production.

Thanks,

The proper internal harness and pressure switches are still available so why not put just them back in?

If you want to operate it manually, that'll work too but it'll be a PITA.

Is that a PITA to install or to use?

If it is to use don't worry about that... because my MCSS is done the same way... I don't do much highway driving :D

So seeing that it can be done: Which of the 4 internal terminals does the power lead on the TTC sillynoid go to?
And... do I still need the extra ground included in the kit?
