I am going to the track on friday and wanted some feedback on people that have the nitto 555 DR's what tire psi everyone is running pre burnout

Thanks

What track ya going to? IRP hasn't been so great for traction so far this year. I run Goodyear 10" slicks and can't find traction anywhere from 10-12.5 psi. Good luck!!!

Not going to IRP yet just want to run it for the first time with the new combo. I'm looking at going to Bunker Hill 1/8th mile since its a mile from the house

I ran around 18# on with the stock 7" GN wheel. My best 60' was 1.75 with an average in the low 1.9's. (Went to Hoosier QTP's and average mid 1.6's with a best of 1.56)

XLR8--How much tire pressure in the QTP? Heavy or light burn out? How many # boost launch? Reason for questions is I just got a set.

Don't mean to highjack this thread.

I run between 14# and 17# in the tires depending on the track conditions - the colder it is the lower the pressure. I guess a medium burn-out. I burn-out until I see smoke from both mirriors and then let of the line-lock and roll out about 5' before I lift. I launch with between 10# & 14# of boost off of the foot brake. Tire size 27x10.5 (it's really a 9" tire) on cheap 8" cirlce track wheels.
