Good Place for Plating / Polishing?

Wheres a good place in the southwest to send parts for chrome or polishing? I dont trust the mexicans in juarez with my parts especially with the fighting going on over there.

I dont mind having to ship it as long as its quality work.

Republik of Kali is probably one of the worst republiks / states to have any processing done, especially chrome, due to the requirements / burden the EPA keeps piling on, but "Verne's House of Plating" or Verne's House of Chrome" used to be considered one of the best chrome houses / processors. Verne's is located in the greater Los Angeles, Kali area. I would probably contact "rmar" on this forum who is on the right coast, whom I am sure does quality work, and probably more reasonable prices. HTH

Yea it seems quality chrome is rare anywhere anymore.... the EPA has really cracked down on it in a hard way.

even polishing seems to be a dying art.

I guess i might have to extend my cash to the east coast.

crap for chrome, had to have it all redone else where,
yellowed in less than 1yr, sitting in wrappers in the garage!

Why dont they ban products from CHINA until China address their pollution that is floating over here.

Instead we get this

well i think since the big companies and real big polluters have the money to buy there way out while the little guy driving his car gets screwed.

sucks.

but chrome is hard to get these days it seems..... looks like i'll be going to mexico where triple chrome is still available.

I thought that all chrome was triple chrome.
I don't think that triple chrome is what most people think that it is. It is not 3 layers of chrome plating.

i believe triple chrome is ..bronze..nickle...and then chromium.

I know of is in las Vegas
if you want the name and adderss, lemme know.I'll have to look,
still does triple chrome, (not 3 layers, but copper, nickle chrome)
and if you want show quality, they leave it in the tank longer, ( more $$$)
sucks to be in calif and want chrome!
