wheres a good site that will talk me through a rebuild on a 1980 carbed turbo? thanks in advance

I haven't seen any reason to build a carb/turbo any different than a SFI motor. The '80 long block is very similar to the 84 long block (which is not much different than a 86/87). 14-bolt oil pan and steel shim head gaskets on the earlier motors.

I don't know of any step-by-step webpages, but I would start by reading everything on www.gnttype.org . Lots of good pictures.
