Clean usable 6109 block either of turbo or of NA version.

I have had several bad experiences with NA blocks . They are usually out
of high milage poorly maitained cars which means the cylinders are In bad
shape . Many high milage GN blocks will clean up at .005-.010 , But all of the
NA blocks I've had needed at least .030 to clean up .

Thanks for that, Dan. i ve meaning to call you for a price on putting a #4291 production 4.1 block together for me with a girdle and a eagle stroker crank and K1 6.350 rods- i already have the block and some stage 2 ross pistons (from a 3.625 stroke and 6.5" rods stage2 motor) which i guess i could use for the build up. Let me know what your opion on this is.Thanks.

I'm sorry but I don't follow your plan. Are you wanting a St 2 engine or
a standard head piece. Eagle doesn't have a stroker crank, but DLS does.
Pistons from a 6.5 rod won't work very well with a 6.350 rod. You'll have
to better explain to me want you are wanting to do .

yes ,i wanted to put a stroker crank in a normal production 4.1 #4291 block (which i have),and some K1 rods, and was hoping to use the ross pistons i got from billy anderson from a stage 2 motor. these are not useable in this kind of build up? I wanted to put a girdle on the normal production block and make a stroker out of it with some champion or ta heads-i was leaning towards the ta heads. what are your recommendations?the ross pistons are 4.00" bore i thought the max on a 4.1 #4291 block. Also a roller 224/224 cam.
