Now that I'm using Chrome (got tired of all the errors on IE), I must have something set wrong.

When I start Chrome from its own icon on the task bar, It opens up to my igoogle page, but opens two identical igoogle tabs at the same time. Talk about redundant! Also happens when opening chrome from the start menu.

If I open a web page from its own icon, chrome opens with just that tab alone (correct operation).

And if I hit the home icon from that tab, it comes to the igoogle page with just one igoogle tab.

check startup

go to tools, then extensions, then on the left click on settings, where it says "On startup" click on set pages, if you have more than one thats more than likely your problem

I went there, and only saw one instance of igoogle, so..... I deleted it, and now chrome opens to just one instance of my igoogle page. Thanks, although I don't understand why that was happening with just one instance of igoogle in the set pages box.
