Got a CTS-V today...

...In our dealership that is. It's a pretty hot car, but I don't like the grilles. They have too much of a import look to them being "mesh".

I can't wait to get some more in that are not pre-sold. We'll be modifying them some at that point!

I think Caddy is finally on the right track with this car. I really like the looks of it, even the grill. Price hurts it, but all in all it's a damn nice car.

Next time give me a call. If the sticker is $51k that is the max you would pay with me. Just saved a couple in Denver $8k off a Tahoe. Sticker was $42,000 got it for $34,000.

Um, that car is competetive with European sedans (and often outperforms them) that cost twice as much. The price is one of the best things going for it.

I want to put a 100 shot on Scotty's car and go racing at LVD.

Prolly have the fastest one around if we used slicks and da Juice.

Wonder if the motor could take it.....

My boss is getting his delivered tommorow. He had a Z06 that he road raced at Gingerman all the timebut it dropped a valve, it had 11,000 miles on it. Dealer replaced the engine after some minor run around and now he got rid of it for the CTS-V. It can handle the N2o its an Ls6 same as Z06 engine. We've done alot of blowers, headers, exhaust, etc. on the ESC, ESV, & EXT. So I'm sure as soon as we get some CTS-V's on the lot that aren't pre-sold we'll be modding some of them also!!

Thanks for the offer. I paid sticker and they gave me $1500 more than KBB trade in value for my Vette and told me I could keep the Vette until It came in. I have everything in writing. I heard of 1 guy getting GMS on a CTSV and about 100 complaining because no one will do it. I think it problably would have been wiser to wait for the 05 because it will problably have the LS2 and an automatic option, but with the new baby and low interest rates, I had to jump on it ASAP. Depending how taxes go, I'll problably just buy a blower for it.

Can anybody run my order # to see the status. A firm buid week should be assigned any day now. I think only a caddy dealer can, My chevy buddy said it wouldn't come up on his pc.

Sorry for not wording it better but what I meant was the price would be $51k max. I have never (knock on wood ) been OVER invoice . Im usually thousands under depending on the make and model. Thanks

Georgeous car. I like the grill. You gotta do something different with the appearance to let folks know whats up. Pricy, but performs as well as or better than the more expensive euros.

Don't compare the CTS-V to "European Sedans". Cadillac doesn't, otherwise they wouldn't sell it for half as much. No car is a bargain. A manufacturer gets what he can - every penny - no more, no less.

An M5 would bury the Caddy. It ought to - it's a lot more.

I went to a BMW dealer on Sunday and walked around. There were a zillion upwardly mobile people crawling all over the lot. I doubt any of them can spell Cadillac...
