Got a GN! Woohoo!

Hey everyone,

I am the new owner of an 87 GN! I purchased the car from Joe today! I haven't driven it yet... I need to fix a small oil leak first. Okay everyone, this car is going to be my daily driver, so I don't want to do anything to decrease the MPG. Buuut, I do want to upgrade the car! Can you guys give me a list of things TO DO, to increase HP, or improve performance/handling without robbing MPG? Or anything I can do to add MPG? Thanks everyone...

I was the same way too before, wanted to do upgrades but don't want to hurt the gas mileage, you got to choose one the power or the gas? Once I did my upgrades I said screw the gas I love this power . And as for the suspension, Bilstein's all around and new springs if the car is sagging.

Actually, after the basic mods are done, a good chipcan actually help the MPG. some guys actually put in a lean cruise mode for the highway. Jim Testa does this and I couldn't believe the difference it made. Check around with the chip guys and ask them if they have a lean cruise setting. Some guys with alot of mods are still getting 25+ mpg so it can be done. Good luck.
