I picked up a Isuzu Pup with a Rotary. Its a carbed motor in it and later on I might switch to a turbo motor and all. I dont have any pics now cause of it being dark, but I will get some tomorrow of it.

My mods I want to do as of right now is:

Lowering (old fashioned way or coils if I can get them).

Some mid motor work (Cause I need some more power from this stock turd)

Wheels (tired of rolling on steelies, but not sure on a size)

Custom dash (nice gauge setup pretty much of complete aftermarket)

That is pretty much it for now since Im still trying to decide on a paint job for it and that is a hard with so many colors. There will be more modifications later on, but this is all for now.

That's an odd combo. I remember when Mazda had their own rotary-powered pickups back in the early-mid '70s.

I realize that Isuzu didn't have a rotary P/U, I just thought that it was odd that someone would swap a small displacement engine into a P'up. Did you ever meet Joe Isuzu?

LOL no but those p'ups as they were called weren't that heavy and the Mazda Rotary when build right is no joke have a friend who has put them in all kinds of cars one being a Suzuki Samuri, and a Toyota Starlet (which ran 9's) and looked stock other than the cheater slicks in the rear

Traded for a 98 dodge 4x4 on 35s and with a cummins.

My brother converted a 89 Isuzu over from the factory 4 cylinder to an 85 buick 3.8 carb motor from my old regal (with over 200k on it). It actually was a nice conversion, mated to a 5-speed. He drove it daily for about (8) years until the frame totally rotted. Think the engine had over 300k on it, never opened up.

He used to laugh when he went to autozone and the employees saw him pull up. Nobody believed it was a 3.8 motor in it.
