I just bought an angle grinder to cut off a stripped bolt. Now I am in the mood to cut stuff. Has any one cut thier exhuast before the muffler? I was thinking about cutting it at angle so the pipes exit facing the ground. I don't have emmision laws where I live and sound doesn't bother me. What do you think?

I guess I should have asked would I be able to gain anything from doing that or is it a waste of time?

Why not just run an open downpipe? Less cutting and you can put the exhaust on if you ever get that urge later on. haha

Is it safe to run without the whole exhaust? I don't want to melt any wires or nothin. My side exit on my srt4 used to shoot huge flames. Don't want to hurt anything on the Buick.

I run mine with nothing after the test pipe. I had to remove my exhaust when I installed the ARB. It's a little loud, but no issues for me otherwise. No flames or backfires or melted wires etc.
