Well, after spending three weeks doing the suspension on the front end, I took the car to get aligned today. On the way home is started raining real hard, somebody in a little festiva or metro or something cut me off. They almost tagged the passenger side of the front fo the car and so I pulled it to the left a little and I think I maybe tapped the brakes. The rear end of the car came spinning around. I tagged the passenger front of the car, and then the passenger rear end REALLY smacked the wall. The front will be easy to fix, but the rear of the car has been moved about 2-3 inches to the driver side. The wheels are still all straight as well as the frame. The only part of the frame the is bent is the passneger side piece that supports the trunk and the bumper.

I need opinions and thoughts and more beer. Please let me know what you guys think. You can check out the pics here: http://www.r00td0wn.net/buick/

If you need pictures of a cetain are please let me know. I know some of the pics are bad, but I really don't feel like touching them up right now.

Thanks everyone.

:(

Jere?? You OK?

I just heard! Any idea who the asshole was who cut you off?? Any witnesses?? Man that sucks. Send me a PM with a number.

Jeremy thinks this is NASCAR... ... nobody told him NASCAR doesn't have T-tops.

Awe man,I would have mailed the little pr!ck.
Now you have no proof you were cut off by anyone.
This looks like a job for........ Bweavy!:)

That sucks man. Did the car that cut you off stick around or bolt?

Talked to insurance yet?

What are your plans?

You need anything, give me a call. :(

Shawn I know where that rust free shell came from ;)
Glad your Ok that's the important thing.I just got a T-top 87 T in Saturday let me know if I can help you out.I have no problem stripping down the parts you don't need & shipping a rolling chassis to you.

Well guys......hold on to those parts. I still need to collect myself. 2 major life events in one week, new first baby and fuct Buick is a little much.

Chris Wren, I can still call you if yer up.

There you go,the GN guys ride to the rescue!
Congrats on the baby.
The car can be fixed.
Take a deep breath and have a beer.:)

I knew you guys would come out to help me! :) That's the greatest thing about this community. I plan on an engine and part pulling party VERY soon. I will post on here when I get a date setup. We'll have beer, we'll grill out, and everyone will turn a wrench. So wear those crappy clothes!

I'm talking with Bweavy now about his T-top car he mentioned. Chris Wren was nice enough to offer to go look at it. I'll try and keep everyone posted.

Since they won't let me go back to work till Friday, I'm going to get a new website done up to track the progress of the project.

Thanks again to everyone for all of the offers and for the kind words. The "Going Fast with Class" motto has never been more clear to me than now.

OH!!! One thing, hehehe. After I got the car towed home and got it all situated in the garage. I noticed a box near the doorstep. It was my refurbed Mark Jackson stretch IC with a custom shroud I got from Keith Mease. :D Well, at least I know I have an Intercooler for the car! hehehehe

Have tools can bring trailer to get parts. Have technical know how. Can make time on the weekends. We can rebuild it, make it better stronger, faster than it ever was before. Call me and we will be there in a couple of hours to help. WE HAVE THE POWER!!!!

An engine hoist has been located for Jer to pull his drivetrain out. Every little bit helps.

Luckily, this wasn't a recently repainted car with the new MJ intercooler installed... and as previously stated, its just a car.

WOW!!!!!

man that stinks!!!!!!!!!! at least my IC is still in tact! hehe;)

You're gonna need to find a complete shell to swap everything over to, no use in repairing what you have there since it needs a frame and two quarters.

call Bweavy, he's got what ya need, in fact in the past few months we donated 2 good shells to his cause;)

ROADTRIP! have a trailer?

good luck with whatever you do and spend less time with that beer and more with the kid!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Regards, <KM@>MPE

Got trailer and suburban. ROAD TRIP!!!!!!! Work on car. Make it run again. Must work on car and make it run again.

Waiting on the report from Chris Wren. I'll let everyone know what I hear.

In the meantime, I have set up a website to track the rebuild of the monster.

I will try and update it often.

You guys can check it out: http://buick.r00td0wn.net

Those are zero's, not O's in the name.

Jer Chris stopped by today & we went over everyting. The T-top roof & plates have no rust at all dry floor after heavy down poors yesterday.Any spots that are questionable Chris took pics for you.I think you'll be happy! BTW Nice catch on the T-top Chris ;)

Yah.. I tried sending the pics this morning but I had the wrong email address so I just sent them out to Jere. Car looked good... so I think we may be one step closer to a happy ending.

Brian, I didn't feel like wearing a t-top full of glass. I thought I might need to use that t-top later to fend off those mosquitos... :D

I tried emailing you but didn't get a response, anywho.

My trucks running well, trailer still smells of fresh paint. Not much scheduled, so for gas, we can go grab anything. Thou no wench for pulling something onto the trailer.

Probably could load it using the straps/rachets, just would take a strong back weak mind to do it...
